Anyway, the Luminaries is astonishing. Highly recommend it although it is probably too long for book group.

Still can't get reply to work so am doing a newpost. Highly enjoyed Gormenghast and it might be good as a summer read as there is certainly a lot to get through. Enjoyed Mark's other suggestions.
